More About Me

I have been involved in the space of psychology, mental health, and psychedelics since 2017. I hold a B.A. in Psychology (Cum Laude), with several certifications and awards for my work in mental health and psychedelic education. I’ve been blessed to be a high performing scientific researcher within intensive labs such as University of Oregon, in sleep neuroscience; University of Colorado Denver, in chronic pain and opioid addiction; and Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, in molecular neuroscience. Additionally, outside of academia I have held several leadership roles, most notably as both President and Treasurer of Students for Sensible Drug Policy (SSDP) at California State University, Monterey Bay, where I led educational presentations and discussions on psychedelics, harm reduction, and evidence-based drug policy.
My extensive background in both psychology and leadership has informed me how I can best support and serve others: build authentic trust, cultivate open-mindedness, and share evidence-based practical tools that help support meaningful change in one's life. I’m fascinated by psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, indigenous use of psychoactive plants, and the thoughtful blending of modern science and spirituality. These wide range of interests fuel my desire to help others navigate altered states of consciousness with care, balance, and curiosity.
Outside of these interests, you would find me immersed in different kinds of literature, music, and community. I’m inspired by all types of philosophy, especially mysticism, metaphysics, and existentialism. I listen to a wide range of music spanning across dozens of different genres. Some personal passions include hot yoga, sauna, podcasts, and of course anything Grateful Dead!
I thoroughly enjoy taking my dogs on long walks where they can run free, snowboarding in the Cascades, and co-creating nourishing meals with my family. My wife and I travel regularly to markets and festivals — she’s a brilliant silversmith and we vend her handmade jewelry together. These experiences ground me and connect me to what matters most in my life: presence, nature, and beauty.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. I’d truly love to hear from you if you're curious to connect, learn more, or work together.
